Approaching the collapse of the collapse
The terrible thundering of silent tears
The cold desperation of a starless night
With the tenacity of a fading love
The collapse approaches silently and subtly
The endless howl of a speechless wolf
Slowly cracking away at the façade
Until it is laid bare in the dust of a forgotten age
The end of a whimsical dream cut short
By the stark dread of the morning lights
A subtle warning wrongfully ignored
Leading to the loathsome collapse
This is the terrible fate that awaits them
The unfortunate souls who become so fascinated
With their facades that they forget themselves
They become the empty facades that they fashioned for themselves
